Ranjana Maitra is a global leader and entrepreneur with 30+ years of experience in the Healthcare and Life Sciences sectors, known for building and scaling high-growth, international businesses. She has held senior leadership roles at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Wipro Ltd., consistently driving profitable, multi-market expansion.

At Wipro, she served as General Manager & Global Head – Life Sciences Digital Operations & Platforms, leading 13 global delivery centres, integrating acquisitions, and building digital platforms that transformed client operations worldwide.

An MBA in Marketing and alumna of the University of New Haven (USA), Ranjana began her career with TCS before transitioning from corporate leadership to international education. As Country Head – International Relations & Strategic Partnerships at the University of New Haven, she leads global partnerships and has driven record enrolment growth from South and Southeast Asia.

A strong advocate for Women in STEM and international education, she is a recognized thought leader and speaker shaping cross-border collaboration and industry–academia engagement.

Ranjana currently serves as Chairperson, CII Indian Women Network – Western Region (2025–2026) and is a member of the CII Western Region Taskforce on Education. She is the Chair for Education & Innovation at the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, advancing education, innovation, and inclusive leadership initiatives.
