Avani Shroff brings over two decades of leadership in startup operations, strategy, and social enterprise development to NEF’s Women Empowerment mission. She co-founded Six Hats Online Solutions, where she launched Gharobar.com—a pioneering e-commerce marketplace that onboarded home-based sellers and small entrepreneurs across India.

Her leadership experience includes strengthening business operations at 3 previous startups including a SAAS based Software product organisation and Offshore RPOs, where she managed business operations, finance, talent, service delivery and governance functions.

Academically, she holds an engineering degree, a postgraduate diploma in Operations Management from SCDL, and most recently, she completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Project Management from IIM Nagpur.

At NEF, Avani focuses on designing and executing programs that empower women entrepreneurs through skill-building, mentorship, and market linkages. She is deeply passionate about enabling women to build agency, achieve financial independence, and become catalysts for social and cultural change.
