Smita Yedekar is a first-generation, serial entrepreneur and mentor dedicated to helping early-stage founders build scalable and successful companies.

Smita founded Smartsourcing Global Inc, US, in 2006, a technology company with a diverse portfolio, and co-founded 1Mobility, headquartered in Singapore, in 2014, an Enterprise Mobile Security product. In April 2018, 1Mobility was acquired by Qualys, Inc., a Silicon Valley company. She has worked as an Independent Director and member of Advisory Boards. In her current role as a Business Head and a Resident Entrepreneur, she focuses on strategic growth of ScreenXchange, a background screening product by Neeyamo.

She brings a wealth of practical knowledge in product development, global sales, and operations, having built two international software companies from the ground up. Today, she channels this experience into her mentorship roles, serving as the Chair for TiE Pune’s ‘Nurture’ accelerator and as a mentor for the DSCI National CoE. Smita works closely with founders in Cyber Security, SaaS, and other tech-enabled sectors to sharpen their strategy and accelerate growth.
